| 於1992年畢業於SCI-ARC，回國後陸續於幾所不同的學校進行其「工廠操作(Making)」教學理念的實踐，並完成幾件另類的校園建築案，這對台灣的建築設計教育而言，帶來了相當不同的刺激。 1998年轉往南台灣的國立台南藝術大學任教時進行籌畫「建築繁殖場」，並於1999年正式成立；面對南台灣之氣候、地理條件，「建築繁殖場」師生自力建造的方式，展開 1 : 1 建築的實驗建造過程，此母體建築並於2001年獲得第三屆「遠東建築設計首獎」。2002年以後帶領「建築繁殖場」團隊及各世代成員歷經國內、外不同的展覽，如：2003年宜蘭童玩節「樹屋 1 —拓殖計劃」，2005年台南市海安路的繁殖計劃A&B「Non-side zoom · Open reality 非間帶‧開放實境」參與街道美術館計劃，2005年台中國立台灣美術館「Turning the Theater啟動西兒特—童夢林」，2007年台中國立台灣美術館「Digital Ant Gallery 數位藝術方舟」，2007年台中國立台灣美術館「Jello · Bridge 果凍月橋，2008年台北華山藝文特區」 、「Jello · Park 果凍園，2008台北總統府前南廣場」 、「Jello · Maze 果凍迷宮」，2008年台中國立台灣美術館「Jello · Maze ?凍迷宮」等的創作教學與移地繁殖創作計劃；並於2004年代表台灣參加第九屆威尼斯國際建築雙年展「Interbreeding Project "V" Taiwan: The Interbreeding Field」，2006年受邀參加德國魯爾區埃森 (Essen) Zeche Zollverein (第12號礦區)「ENTRY 2006, Talking Cities」城市論述國際建築展，等一連串空間實驗創作計劃。另於2007-2008年相繼受邀參與『Instant Urbanism』展覽於2007年瑞士建築美術館 SAM (Swiss Architecture Museum in Basel)，2008年丹麥哥本哈根建築中心 DAC (Danish Architecture Center in Copenhagen)，2008年荷蘭海爾荷林中心VITRUVIANUM (Centrum voor Architectuur in de Euregio Maas-Rijn in Heerlen)，及2008年受邀參與『REACTIVATE!!』展覽於西班牙卡斯提洛當代美術館『Espai d'Art Contemporani de Castello in Castello』。2008年「建築繁殖場」並獲得威尼斯第十一屆國際建築雙年展Biennale Architecture 11th International Architecture Exhibition大會策展團的邀請，參加「Out There: Architecture Beyond Building」2008年威尼斯國際建築雙年展，於大會主題館區Padiglione Italia, Giardini義大利國家大會館中展出；這是台灣歷年參加威尼斯國際建築雙年展以來，所未曾寫下過之紀錄，也是台灣應對國際當代建築課題與國際前衛論論述對話的一個新里程碑。 |

After graduating from SCI-ARC (Southern California Institute of Architecture) in 1992, Li H. Lu returned to Taiwan and has taught at several university, Holding the belief of making architecture on an action basis, he has introduced a very different approach as opposed to the established architecture education in Taiwan’s institutions. He also managed to complete a number of what he would deem as “alternative” architectural projects in some of the campuses he teached, which have served as a distinctive stimulus and brought an impact on the education of architecture in Taiwan.In 1998, Lu was invited to teach at the Graduate Institute of Architecture, Tainan National University of the Arts, for which he started to take “Interbreeding Field” as a key concept for developing a site as well as teaching program for architecture training. The “Interbreeding Field” as a matrix was formally built and finished in 1999. Working in accordance with the climatic and geographical particularities or criteria that environ southern Taiwan. In 2001, Mr. Lu won the Far Eastern Architecture Design Award, the most prestigious award of its kind in Taiwan. Starting from 2002, the Interbreeding Field team participated in many important exhibition’s in Taiwan, such as The Squirrel’s Home – Tree House Series of The I-Lan Children’s Folklore & Folk Game Festival, Lo-Tung Sports Park, “Interbreeding Project A : Legend Dragon”, “Interbreeding Project B : Non-Side Zoom – Open Reality” in Tainan city Taiwan, “Interbreeding Project C : Tomorrow Morning”, “Digital Ant Gallery”, “Jello．Bridge”, “Jello．Park”, “Jello．Maze” in Taipei city & National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taichung, Taiwan, etc. In 2004, the Interbreeding Field team , led by Mr. Lu, represented Taiwan in the 9th International Architecture Exhibition at Venice Biennial. In 2006, they were invited to attend Germany Essen Zeche Zollverein「ENTRY 2006, Talking Cities」and a whole series of experimental architecture project . In 2007 and 2008 they were invited to 『Instant Urbanism』which was shown in SAM (swiss Architecture Museum in Basel) in 2007, DAC (Danish Architecture Center in Copenhagen) in 2008 and VITRUVIANUM (Centrum voor Architectuur in de Euregio Maas-Rijn in Heerlen) in 2008. In 2008, they were invited to『REACTIVATE!!』which was shown in 『Espai d’ Art Contemporani de Castello in Castello』.In 2008, the Interbreeding Field team was invited to the 11th International Architecture Biennale of Venice and participated in「Out There : Architecture Beyond Building」held in Padiglione Italy, Giardini. This was a record never before achieved in Taiwan’s previous attendance in the International Architecture Biennale of Venice, and was a new milestone in Taiwan's answer to the international dialoguer with the contemporary architecture issue. |
